Spot the difference - 200 times!

Work is on-going on treasure ship but it is slow going at the moment, hence the lack of posts. Some NEWS I have just reached the 200 HOURS stitching point so thought I'd share it with you. Have been doing some work on the pines which is very repetitive but they are starting to come together and look the part. This photo shows the various stages, flat silk foundation, veins, and gold section.

This is the 'spot the difference' section :-) There is about 10 hours difference between the first and second photo.

Embroidery is SUCH a lovely activity, but it does take a very long time, no?=)

I followed the RSS fed here to comment on your progress with treasure ship, which is looking very good, but I am side tracked by a different matter.

Has Millie gone to doggie heaven? When did this happen?

I can relate to your comment about 10 more hours of stitching yet the pics from far away look like no new territory has been covered! I can't see the pics really well but I"m guessing the extra hours were put into the superimposed work on the pine trees on the right and on the broom....

Yes, pretty much all the work is on the pines. Stitched one more on the middle left of the pic and then superimposed the veins both right and left. Also a bit more of the trunk has been couched. Next steps, finish the gold on these then the shippo on the sail.
